Located at Bahia Petempich, part of the second largest reef barrier in the world, considered as a National Park, surrounded by lagoons and mangroves takes place the SNORKELING ADVENTURE, highly recommended for the snorkeling lovers.
It consists of 2 guided visits to the reefs. The first visit is in the morning and includes two reefs, a shallow reef where you will have your first contact with an amazing marine ecosystem for 40-45 min. Afterwards you will ride further to a second and deeper reef with a totally different habitat, for another 40-45 min.
After this expedition it will be time to get back to the beach club to enjoy a delicious gourmet meal and rest. If you are in the mood perhaps you can join us for a game of beach volleyball.
A second guided visit to the reef departs later in the afternoon when light and temperature conditions have changed, which means you will enjoy a totally different for 40-45 minutes more.
Back at the beach club you will have time for refreshment, take a shower and get ready to get on board of the transportation to take you back to your hotel approximately at 5:30 or 6:30pm.

DESTINATION: Punta Tanchacte, in Bahía Petempich, Puerto Morelos, 500 meters from the Puerto Morelos Reef National Park, 35 minutes driving time from Cancun or Playa Del Carmen.
BEACH CLUB: Equipped with 30 thatched shade umbrellas surrounded by six seats each for a total seating capacity of 180 people on the beach; changing rooms, showers, 8 bathrooms, lockers, volleyball court, souvenir shop, hammocks, main bar and beach bar.
BOATS: Six 34 foot boats with seating capacity for 20 passengers each.
VEHICLES: Six air-conditioned, 14 passenger vans.
REEF DEPTHS: Shallow: 1-2 meters (3-7 feet). Featuring schools of colorful fish as well as small and medium-sized coral formations. Deep: 3-6 meters (10-20 feet). Less fish, medium to very large coral formations.
