What is this about?
The Tour Chichen is a guided luxury tour to the archaeological site of Chichen Itzá. Visit the most representative ancestral city of the Mayan culture officially declared "World Heritage" by the UNESCO. Then, explore the colonial city of Valladolid where you can enjoy a delicious meal.
Chichen Itza was a center of religious and commercial power, the remains of one of the most important pre-Hispanic civilizations. Buildings such as The Temple of the Warriors, the Observatory, the Ball Game Court and the area of the Sacred Cenote, are only part of the greatness of this civilization and ancient metropolis.

Kimberley Griffiths Creighton, Saskatchewan, Canada Nov 9, 2016 It was great, but I would have cut some of the extra stuff so that we had more time at Chichen Itza. The tour was very informative, but we left it before the end so we could do some shopping. We only had about 30 minutes to wander around and see the handicrafts, so we barely started and it was time to get to the bus. I would have liked at least another hour to look around. The whole reason for going was to spend time at the site and it almost felt like it was the shortest part of the trip.

Kazutaka Abe Cresskill, NJ, United States Feb 23, 2019 We enjoyed the tour very much. The guide, Jorge explained the history in English and Spanish nicely. I learned a lot about Mayan culture. There is one thing we want the tour to improve. When we went to the supermarket before riding the bus, we could not find the sign for the tour. The person we asked told us to make line to the desk. Then we talked to the lady at the desk but she said this is not a right desk and move to the next line. We were lucky that the tour guide called us and took us to the right section. It would be nice if the ban driver could let us know the section where we should go before get into the supermarket. But overall we recommends the tour.
Mike Monroe San Diego, CA, USA May 23, 2019 Tour was too long with 4 stops. Cut it down to 3 stops: Lunch, Chichen Itza, and cenote. Time spent at lunch needs to be reduced and time spent at Chichen Itza and cenote needs to be longer. The cultural guilt trip was too much. It's beyond the scope of this tour, but the Chichen Itza park needs help. Throw the vendors OUTSIDE of the park! Clean up the park; there was too much trash in the surrounding jungle and the trails were in disrepair. Add more maps showing where the important sites are and add signage describing the sites. The ancient sites are awesome, unfortunately the grounds around them are poorly maintained and even abused.
